Hi! I’m Youbin Wang (Robin), a student currently studying at USC Games, experienced in Game Design, Game Project Management, and Game Technical Skills.

My diverse experiences have taught me a broad range of creative skills. My ambition is to use gaming as a medium for storytelling, aiming to tell thought-provoking stories and explore deep emotional connections with players.

Personal Game Project, Narrative Design
The Camera is a Narrative RPG, brings players into the protagonist Tim with the first viewpoint to comprehend the story and the inner world of autistic children, to bring players emotional empathy.
On the Road (Board Game)

Personal Thesis Project
On the Road is a 2-4 player competitive board game. Players take on the role of motorcycle riders on a motorcycle tour and compete to see who can have the most spectacular trip.
The Scholar's Side Quest

Lead Designer, PM, Level / Quest Design
The Scholar’s Side Quest is a collaborative design project of a third-person action RPG. The story takes place in Letter Town - a small town under the control of a phantasmagoria.
Shepherds

Game Producer
Shepherds (USC Games MFA Thesis Project) is a 3D co-op action-adventure game where players team up as a shepherd and a wolf. They solve rhythm-based puzzles and tackle platforming challenges to save their island.
Baihua Pavilion

Lead Designer, Gameplay Design
Baihua Pavilion is a mechanics-based online multiplayer combat game created during a Game Jam. The game combines PVP combat with the art style of Peking Opera to bring a unique playing experience.
Aid Master (Educational Game)

Personal Game Project
Aid Master is an educational game that promotes first-aid knowledge. By telling vivid stories in the form of live shooting to heighten players’ immersion, and combine with motion-sensing input devices to learn knowledge of first aid.
